‘The Glove Box’ is a super nice handlebar bag that will hold the items that otherwise will overfill or won’t even fit your jersey’s back pockets. The bag attaches to the bike with two hook-and-loop straps to the handlebars and a loop of shock cord around the headtube. The bottom and sides of the bag are reinforced so it will maintain it’s awesome shape regardless of how much stuff is in the bag!
The Glove Box is available in two sizes:
Small: 2 Litres (20 x 10 x 10 cm)
The small size Glove Box is perfect to hold some spares (if you’re not using a Foldable Tool Chest already), some bars, a wallet, keys, arm warmers and a mobile phone.
Large: 3 Litres (25 x 11 x 11 cm)
A size large Glove Box is able to hold a small camera or rainjacket with plenty of room to spare for food, a phone, keys and a wallet!
The bag is made with a Cordura outer fabric, orange lining fabric, a YKK water resistant zipper and bombproof thread.
Even though both fabrics are waterproof and the zipper highly water resistant; the seams are not. It’ll probably keep things dry in a light shower or damp weather, but in continuous rain or wet roads/trails moisture eventually will find it’s way into the bag. Using some dry bags or zip-lock bags will solve that problem quickly.
Note: The bag works best with a neat and tidy cockpit. If you look down on your handlebars and the view looks more like a bowl of spaghetti there probably isn’t too much space left for a Glove Box. If the cable routing is nice and tidy you shouldn’t run into any trouble.
